LIN KRELL

Conference President

Lin was born in Seattle, WA and moved to the Kitsap Peninsula over twenty-three years ago. Lin earned a B.Sc. in Health Information Administration from Seattle University; an MBA and M.A. of Healthcare Administration from City University; and graduate certificates in organizational change leadership. She worked in various leadership and administrative positions in hospitals and health systems throughout her career, retiring in 2013. Lin initially volunteered to help fundraise in support of the Birkenfeld-Stella Maris House. She was invited to serve as the Conference Vice-President in 2017 and was elected Conference President in 2018. Lin also serves as President of the SVdP Olympic Peninsula District Council and is a member of the SVdP Seattle Archdiocese District Council. Creating a strategic direction to serve the changing needs of the vulnerable and the community remain the focus of her ongoing work.


LARRY DAHLHAUSER

Conference Vice-President

Larry was born in rural Iowa and grew up on a family farm. In 1966 he joined the USAF, went to Technical Training School, and became an electrician. In 1970 Larry was Honorably discharged from the USAF and worked for the Rocky Mountain Arsenal (Denver, CO) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Engineering Station (Keyport, WA). Larry retired in January 2009, after over 42 years as a journeyman electrician for the Department of Defense. Not one sit still, in 2006 Larry joined The Home Depot in Poulsbo as an Electrical Sales Associate Specialist, retiring in April 2023. This combination of careers has given him proficiency in building installations and maintenance. He has volunteered for SVdP Bremerton as as a Scoutmaster with BSA for 20 years. He joined the SVdP Board of Directors in 2014.


CRAIG LOIDHAMER

Conference Treasurer

Craig was born and raised in Bremerton, WA. He attended college at the University of Washington and earned a B.Sc. in 1996. A year after graduation he moved back to Bremerton to work in the families moving company, which he had worked summers at since he was 13 years old. Craig’s first introduction to St. Vincent DePaul was from a request from his mother who volunteered in the food bank. Once again, he was tasked with automating their paper system and updating their 30 year old phone system. Craig joined the board in 2011 and has been offering his fiscal and technological guidance to the help organization navigate the digital age.


DIANNE STEVER

Conference Secretary

Dianne was born and raised in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. She received her B.A. in engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from The Olin Business School.  Dianne and her husband moved to Seattle in 1998 where she joined Amazon as the company’s first Senior Financial Analyst. While working at Amazon, she primarily focused on inventory issues and financial statement presentation. Dianne’s mother ingrained in her a sense of duty to serve those in need through volunteering and community involvement. From collecting money, books, and newspapers for her church as a teen to volunteering in various service organizations, she and her entire family have pursued service to others throughout their lives. St. Vincent de Paul allows Dianne to serve the community by volunteering weekly in the food bank and as a board member.

BETSY HALL

Board Member

Betsy was born, raised and educated in Seattle, part of a large family that encouraged community involvement and service. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1978 with B.A/B.FA degrees (Advertising/Graphic Design) and again in 1990 with a MBA (Business Finance). Her professional career was focused primarily around B2B sales and marketing, gaining experience and increased responsibility with two Fortune 100 companies. She transitioned to a NW tech start-up and eventually helped with that company’s successful buyout. Since retiring, Betsy has continued to work with various non-profits throughout Kitsap and King counties and indulged in her love of art as a volunteer Docent with the Seattle Art Museum.  She is committed to helping SVdP continue to grow as an organization that helps our neighbors in need. Betsy and her husband, Mickey Hall, a third generation Bremerton-ian, live in Silverdale. 


MIKE MILLER

Board Member

 Mike was born and raised in Aberdeen, WA and moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. He received his B.A. in architecture from the UW in 1978 his M.A. in architecture from the University of Oregon in 1983. Together with his wife Babs he moved to Bremerton in 1998. Mike joined architects Steve Rice and Dave Fergus in 2002 to form Rice Fergus Miller Architects, Bremerton. In his 45 years of professional service, Mike has sought out “Meaningful Work”, work that gives back to and elevates the human condition. Throughout his career Mike has volunteered for several non-profit organizations including locally the Harrison Medical Center Board and Foundation. With St. Vincent de Paul, Mike uses his business and design experience to provide guidance, and to continue to be engaged in meaningful work in retirement.


TERRY MOORE

Board Member

Terri joined the SVdP Bremerton Board in 2022 and has been volunteering in the Assistance Office and Food Bank since the fall of 2020. Terri grew up in the Bremerton/Silverdale area, graduating from Central Kitsap High School and Washington State University with a B.A. in Business (a lifelong Coug!). She has extensive experience in the Human Resources and Employee Benefits fields having worked at The Boeing Company, Kitsap Credit Union and St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County. Covid presented an opportunity for Terri to begin her career of volunteering, giving back to her community. Terri’s strong desire to help those in need aligns with the mission of St. Vincent de Paul.


JOHN WALLEN

Board Member

John was born and raised in California. After graduating from The University of California , Davis in 1978 with a BS in Agricultural Economics he worked for the Farm Credit System before relocating to Bremerton in 1984 with his wife, Jill. He has spent the past 40 years in the employee benefits industry, the past 32 years as a principal with DiMartino Associates. John has been involved in the local non-profit community in the area since arriving in town. He served on the Peninsula Services board from 1987-2004 (Chair from 1995-97) and the Harrison Medical Center Board from 2004-2014 (Chair from 2009-2011) before joining the St Vincent de Paul Board late in 2023. With SVdP, he hopes to work with current board members as well as staff to develop locally focused solutions to the unique challenges in serving the housing and food insecurity needs of the poor in our community today.
